Javier Ayala is a former player and coach at UC Berkeley, bringing over 20 years of professional playing and coaching experience to the field. As the Founder and Academy Director of Bay Area Soccer Academy, Javier has worked at every level of the game, from youth players to professional athletes.

​Between 2013 and 2016, Javier served as the Camp Director for UC Berkeley Soccer Camps, overseeing over 800 players each summer. This wealth of experience has shaped his ability to create an engaging, structured, and player-focused environment that fosters both skill development and a love for the game. Javier’s unique perspective as a coach and former professional player allows him to deliver a camp experience that is both high-level and approachable for young players.
